It’s God’s plan, not my plan!
Be the BEST you can be!
The best athletes in the world all have something in common ... they practice every day. Basketball great Stephen Curry consistently puts up 300 shots after each practice during the season, and during the off season Curry will ramp up his shooting to over 500 shots a day. Why? He knows that a devotion to daily practice is a key to success!
Below are stories of great athletes that play for a power higher than themselves. They play to give testimony to Jesus Christ. Not just when they win but everyday, in everything they do. They do it to give glory to our God. Check out your favorite player below and hear their story.
Just as daily practice is important to your athletic skills, daily reading of the Bible is critical to your personal development. We are all here to make a difference. Below are some great daily devotionals from Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sports Spectrum and Eternity Sports that will send you daily Bible devotions to help you grow in your faith.

God had me here for a reason!
All you need is Faith in God … and Passion
Welcome to the SRPC Man Cave web page. Most guys like sports, and Christian men do also. I am often asked, "Does God care about who wins a competition?" My answer is: "God doesn't really care about who wins or loses games, but He cares deeply about the players and the fans!" The next question usually goes along the lines of, "Then why do players and teams pray before games?" or "Why do athletes thank God for winning Championships and awards and accolades"?
The Bible says, "Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31. God can get the Glory by you performing your task to the best of your ability and doing it in a way that honors Him. It doesn't matter if you are an athlete, a teacher, a janitor, a doctor, a lawyer, a sanitation worker or a full time parent. Your purpose is to do everything for the glory of God.
I hope you enjoy the following video collection of athletes talking about the importance that faith plays in their life and how they perform for the glory of God. Be sure to check out the great sports daily devotionals at the end of the page. They will give you a daily inspiration to live for God.
