Pastor Jeff

I was born in Columbia, SC to Christian parents and was blessed to grow up in a great home where church was important.  At some point in my life I decided to walk my own path, pretending that God isn’t important, and discovered that such a lifestyle is actually quite miserable.  It was then that I became acquainted with God’s immense grace and love and experienced His presence like never before in a tearful, “Prodigal Son-Style,” return to the faith I grew up with. God is ALWAYS good.  Not long afterwards I felt the call to ministry and seminary was the next step.  It was during my time there that I met my amazing wife, Madeline, and we have been married (I married way up!) since August of 2000. God has blessed us with two wonderful girls, Grace and Sarah, who bring much joy into our lives.  I have been a pastor since October, 2001, where I pastored Hopewell Presbyterian (Covington, GA) Church for about 10 years.  Our next stop was Covenant Presbyterian (Statesville, NC) Church where we served for about 6 years.  We have been at Shepherd Road since June of 2018 and we couldn’t be happier!  I enjoy living an active lifestyle which includes hiking, fishing, golfing, being in the water, any kind of sport, playing music, prayer, reading, meeting new folks, and drinking Chick Fila Milkshakes.
